My last post talked about who was sick and what with. Quick update.

I am sick of being sick. Nicole and the kids were stagnant last Saturday (All of them were either lying on the lounge in two states -awake or asleep, while I sorted out things).

Sunday Morning – Wake up, cannot move and did not get out of bed that day (Kids and Nicole feeling a bit better).

The rest of the week, the kids and Nicole bounced back and I finally started to feel good on Friday afternoon!

I must say that this year, I personally, have been sick at least five times. Speaking to a few people, I think that apart from getting the flu, I have had further repercussions as I gave up smoking (after 22 years) about 5 months ago and my body is re-adjusting. Whilst being sick for this length of time, on and off, I don’t care!

Getting off the smokes is more important!

Tonight I am in Melbourne and back to Sydney tomorrow. I went to Lastminute.com.au to get the airfares and the hotel room. This site has re-instigated the Secret Hotels, which I booked (without any knowledge of where I was to end up and upon getting here, the hotel is brilliant!)

Comedy becomes Reality – Doh!

Before get into my main post, yes, I went to the Doctor today and, yes, I have Pharyngitis (See previous post for explanation). On top of this, Nicole woke up this morning with it as well, so that is now 4 for 4, thus completing the circle of snot!

Ok, so let’s get back on track.

We have all heard the one liner – Why did the Japanese Kamakazi pilots in WW2 wear crash helmets (cue laugh track!)

I have been saying to people for years – When are we going to see the wireless extension cord!!!

Is there anything that the human mind cannot overcome?

And one more thing. The Daily Telegraph has an article today which tests whether your left or right brained.

I can do both, which means that I am either well balanced or a freak!

For a 1st post, what a day!

Had yesterday off as I felt like crap (thanks to the circle of snot – both kids sick, and the doctor had diagnosed them with Pharyngitis). This morning Alannah seemed better, but Kenzie woke up early crying, had a boobie, and then went back to bed before I woke up (thankyou Nicole).

Nicole took Kenzie to the Doctor again later in the morning and they think that he has Glandular Fever (I am going to the Doctor tomorrow to get a check up! Yes, my son has given me a kiss!)

I was going to write about other things tonight, but instead, I am going to bed (this does not auger well).
